Looking after Your Lips

Hope you're all having a great week so far !!!

Most of you will have noticed the weather has got a lot colder over the last two weeks. Often people's lips are one of the first places to get effected by the change in weather.

My all time favourite lip balm that I use every single day is "Aloe Lips". It is genuinely incredible and it's the only thing I've ever used that actually nourishes my lips. It has prevented them getting chapped and leaves a brilliant moist effect for every day or before applying a lipstick

(especially a matte lipstick as these tend to dry out some people lips).

Here's a recent review of a client of mine who has started using it about 3 weeks ago.

"I couldn't believe how brilliant it was, if only I had it for the whole time I was on the tablets"

This lady had used numerous popular lip balms and had to reapply several times a day, yet her lips were completely chapped the whole time while on medication. She couldn't believe the power of this once she started using it.

Feis Face Essentials

As feis season is well underway I thought I would help some of you out as I always get asked what makeup I use for Dancing competitions. So here's my top 5 feis face essentials.

1.Mac Studio Fix Fluid

This is my go to foundation for feis's. The coverage is fantastic and it has amazing staying power. I found in my teens I had a lot more perspiration, therefore foundations pretty much would roll off my face while dancing. This is definatly my favourite foundation for stage. I wear the shade NC40.

2.Brow Gel

Eyebrows really shape your face. In most major competitions, you are dancing on a big stage with lots of lights and this can drain you out. Hence why we have the dark legs and heavier makeup for stage. I love the "Mac fluid line brow gel" because it doesn't budge all day and you know your eyebrows will be "on fleek"!!! I wear "Dirty blonde"

3.Sultry Eyelashes

Lashes complete every look. In my opinion a face is not complete without some sort of lashes.

There are so many varieties out there to choose from but one of my favourites are the "Sultry" eye lashes from primark/penny's and they are only €1.50🤗. If it's your first time to wear lashes do not be afraid of them. These ones are super light and really comfy to wear.

4.Ruby Woo

This is a Matte finish Red lippy that also has amazing staying power. I always apply a lip liner first before applying any lipstick. This will help prevent the lips from "Bleeding" (those little lines around the lips where the lipstick starts to spread into)

5.Mac Soft & Gentle

 This is one of my favourite highlighters and it's very user friendly. This will really give a lift to your cheekbones and take the "flat" look away. It can also be used as an eyeshadow so perfect for placing on the inner tear duct to make your eyes pop! 

(The w7 "glowcomotion" is very similar to this and about 1/7 of the price!!)
